@ 9:59 PM

thank God i could go for games day today. was really fruitful.

what ren an shared was a burden for my heart for quite some time.
the statement of 'doing the Lord's work' have often been misused at this point in time. I really thank God for the families who went over 4 years ago. As uncle Andrew said, it wasn't easy for them. Sure they must have gone through discouragements and disappointments but they encouraged each other and pressed on.

Today, we have a new church maturing. Though not fully yet but sure, in a few years' time they will. Many of us simply can't stand to break away from the fellowship of childhood friends who grew up together since young at bethesda amk. Some decided to move over. Even I was tempted. Given many reasons, I somehow felt that I should be there. I reasoned with my parents, even laid down my justifications.

But they were all shallow desires. I realised that while depot needs people to help, amk needs even more people to stay put to continue building the church.

It took me almost a year of thinking and prayer. And I learnt that it didn't matter where you live, who your friends were but what was important was that you had to go according to God's perfect plan and will.
Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith - Hebrews 12:2
After youth camp, I think God wants me to lead the P6 and Sec 1 batches. The transition from primary to secondary school is immense and for many, that's the turning point of their maturity. Even as Ren An shared, we as youths have to prepare ourselves to take over the church in future. We gotta start early.

It's tough in the face of life to keep trusting God and clinging on to the cross always. and that's where saints should uphold one another, praying for one another.

There is one body and one Spirit—just as you were called to one hope when you were called— one Lord, one faith, one baptism; one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all.       Ephesians 4:5-6
i love my church :D
